Thistle Family Dentistry has a new locum opportunity for a full-time receptionist.

Come join our friendly team as they help you adjust to the challenging but very

rewarding position of running the front desk of a modern, downtown dental

practice.

Who we are:

Located in Purdy's Wharf Tower 1, we operate out of a small, but dentist-

owned office called Purdy's Wharf Dental Group. Our hours of operation are

Mon to Wed 8-6, Thurs 7:30-2, CLOSED Fri, Sat and Sun.

Job Responsibilities include:

 Providing exceptional patient care

 Warmly welcoming our patients and their families on arrival.

 Answering a multi-line phone, texts and emails

 Scheduling/Confirming appointments and Updating records

 Collecting fees and filing insurance claims

 Maintaining the cleanliness of the reception area

Our Ideal Candidate will have:

 Minimum 1 year experience of customer service – preferably in a

dental, medical or other professional setting

 Administrative/Receptionist program considered an asset, but not

required

 Excellent customer service skills and the genuine desire to help our

patients and their families, and make them feel at ease.

 Friendly and outgoing personality

 Strong organizational skills, attention to detail as well as the ability

to multitask

 A willingness to learn some dental terminology

experience/qualifications)
