Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Grill Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking food items on the grill, ensuring high-quality meal presentation, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment. This role requires a passion for food preparation, excellent food safety practices, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant setting.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook grilled dishes according to menu specifications and recipes
  • Ensure all food is cooked to the proper temperature and presentation standards
  • Assist in food preparation tasks such as chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients
  • Maintain cleanliness of the grill station and surrounding areas in compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Serve food promptly and accurately to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Follow food handling procedures to prevent cross-contamination and ensure food safety
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation during busy hours
  • Restock supplies as needed and assist with general kitchen duties

Requirements

  • Proven experience in food service, particularly in grilling or restaurant cooking roles
  • Knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety standards
  • Strong understanding of food handling procedures and sanitation practices
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent serving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction
  • Previous kitchen experience in the food industry is preferred
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights as needed
  • A positive attitude, teamwork-oriented mindset, and strong work ethic

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
