• Nurture and guide children 0–5 with warmth, care, and respect.

• Plan, document, and evaluate emergent curriculum that reflects the interests of children and families, with a focus on the living inquiries of the Saskatchewan Early Learning Framework.

What We're Looking For

In addition to being a wonderful and positive person & team player, you must have:

Licenses & Certifications:

• Ability to work on Saturdays
• ECE Level I, II, III
• First Aid/CPR
• Food Safe (asset)
• Well-developed interpersonal skills, including excellent oral and written communication
• Strong knowledge and awareness of child development
• A passion for inclusion and family engagement
• Collaborate effectively with other educators to create a positive, team-focused environment
• Works in partnership with families and, when required, links them to additional community support.
• Ability to take initiative, work independently, and demonstrate good judgment
• Responsible, reliable, well-organized, flexible, and innovative—while being a true team player who loves learning
• Ability to use an iPad efficiently for documentation, communication, and program planning

Duties of the Position

As an educator at ProducKIDvity, you are entrusted with responsibilities that go beyond daily care. You are shaping safe, joyful, and inclusive spaces where children and families feel a true sense of belonging. Your duties include, but are not limited to:

Curriculum & Learning

• Through the lens of Reggio Emilia, plan and implement activities that promote the creative, intellectual, social, emotional, physical, and spiritual growth of each child.
• Follow an emergent, play-based curriculum rooted in children's interests, questions, and ideas, in alignment with Saskatchewan's Early Learning confidence building
• Document learning journeys through photos, stories, and displays, keeping families connected to their child's growth and discoveries

Environment & Engagement

• Organize classroom layout and materials so they are welcoming, inclusive, and engaging for both children and families.
• Design spaces that support child-led exploration and are inclusive of diverse abilities, ensuring every child thrives.

Health, Safety & Well-Being

• Ensure children are supervised at all times, including bathroom routines and transitions in and out of program spaces.
• Staff should be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Follow Ministry of Health requirements: safe handwashing practices, sanitising toys and equipment, and ensuring contagious children remain at home.
• Take every step to prioritize the physical and emotional safety of all children in your care

Family & Community Partnerships

• Build and maintain open, respectful, and supportive communication with families through daily conversations and Brightwheel updates
• Partner with families to foster strong, collaborative relationships rooted in "shared caring."
• Engage with the broader community, reflecting ProducKIDvity's commitment to social enterprise and community involvement.

Professionalism & Teamwork

• Uphold all ProducKIDvity policies and licensing requirements
• Collaborate with colleagues to create a supportive, innovative workplace that values authenticity, accountability, kindness, and community involvement.
• Lead by example, supporting educators, contributing to team building, and fostering an environment of respect and trust.
• Use an iPad efficiently for documentation, communication, and program planning.
• Demonstrate responsibility, flexibility, good judgment, and initiative while embracing lifelong learning.

Pay: $15.35-$28.93 per year
