Coswick Canada Inc is a distributor of European flooring which we import to Canada and USA and distribute across North America. We have warehousing facilities in GTA, Vancouver, and California.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Logistics Officer located in Mississauga, ON. The Logistics Officer will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of inventory control, order receipt and placement with the factories, following through on the full logistical journey of all orders, reporting to managers on ETAs and status of orders/deliveries; working with warehousing facilities to decrease costs and optimize logistics; working with shipping companies to find best rates and ship product; clearing customs. Daily tasks include monitoring and managing supply chain activities, coordinating with suppliers and vendors, and handling administrative duties related to logistics. The role requires ensuring timely delivery of materials, and optimizing logistical processes to support the company's goals.

Qualifications

  • Experience in Inventory Control and Warehouse Operations
  • Proficiency in Logistics Management and Supply Chain Management
  • Strong Administration skills
  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
  • Strong communication and coordination skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively and on-site in Mississauga, ON
  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field
  • Ability to quickly learn new software modules and integrate them fully in operations
  • Problem solving and logical thinking are a must
