Adecco is currently hiring a full-time highly organized and proactive
Mailroom clerk
to provide essential support to our client's mailroom office team in Vancouver, BC. This role is critical in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations by handling administrative tasks, coordinating schedules, and maintaining accurate records.     Monday to Friday | 8:00am – 4:30pm

Responsibilities:

  • Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail and interoffice deliveries for multiple departments.
  • Process outgoing mail via Canada Post, Purolator, Novex, and other couriers; prepare waybills and track deliveries.
  • Operate postage machine, maintain supplies, and manage funds for postage.
  • Handle special requests such as registered mail and same-day deliveries.
  • Activate, deactivate, and update access cards for new hires, contractors, and visitors.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with security protocols.
  • Monitor and replenish office and kitchen supplies; coordinate orders through approved vendors.
  • Assist with light kitchen duties (dishwasher, coffee inventory).
  • Secure mailroom and equipment daily; maintain logs and records.
  • Manage key inventory and respond to facility requests.
  • Support special projects and provide general administrative assistance as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Mailroom clerk or in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • High level of professionalism and discretion when handling sensitive information
  • Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
