Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. This role is essential in preparing high-quality dishes, maintaining food safety standards, and supporting the overall kitchen operations. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and experience in a fast-paced restaurant environment, ensuring our guests receive exceptional service and delicious meals.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare ingredients and assist in meal preparation according to recipes and quality standards
  • Cook menu items efficiently while maintaining consistency and presentation standards
  • Follow food safety guidelines and proper handling procedures to ensure cleanliness and hygiene
  • Assist with food plating, garnishing, and portioning to ensure timely service
  • Maintain cleanliness of workstations, equipment, and utensils throughout shifts
  • Support kitchen staff during busy periods by performing various prep tasks as needed
  • Adhere to all health and safety regulations to promote a safe working environment

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in serving, food preparation, or cooking within a restaurant or food service setting is preferred
  • Knowledge of food handling, safety procedures, and kitchen equipment operation
  • Strong understanding of meal preparation techniques and food industry standards
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
  • Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to follow directions accurately
  • Basic knowledge of food safety regulations and proper sanitation practices
  • Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Food safe level one.
