Job Summary

Lolo's Hot Chicken and Neighbourhood Spot is NOW HIRING line cooks and prep cooks. We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for food preparation, cooking, and ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills in a fast-paced restaurant environment, contributing to a memorable dining experience for our guests.

Ideal candidate will have full availability for day and evening shifts as well as weekends.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare ingredients and assist in meal preparation according to recipes and standards
  • Cook menu items efficiently while maintaining quality and presentation standards
  • Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a clean and safe kitchen environment
  • Assist with food handling, storage, and inventory management
  • Support other kitchen staff during busy service hours, including serving dishes when needed
  • Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and equipment throughout shifts
  • Adhere to all restaurant policies regarding food handling and safety procedures

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environment preferred
  • Knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety standards
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
  • Strong understanding of meal preparation and food handling protocols
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills
  • Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and evenings as needed
  • Passion for the food industry with a commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 per week
