Marvel Signs & Display is seeking a hands-on Design-Build Project Manager to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, design-to-production environment and enjoys wearing multiple hats. You will be involved in project management, design support, production, 3D printing, and general shop operations.

This is not a desk-only PM role. You will work closely with designers, fabricators, and installers to help move projects from concept through production and completion.

Key Responsibilities

Project Management

  • Manage projects from kickoff through production and installation
  • Coordinate schedules, materials, and internal resources
  • Track job progress and help resolve production or timeline issues
  • Communicate with internal teams to keep projects moving forward

Design & Design-Build Support

  • Assist with design layouts and production-ready files
  • Prepare and modify artwork for printing, vinyl, CNC, and fabrication
  • Support design-build workflows where designs evolve during production

Production & Shop Support

  • Assist with digital printing, vinyl cutting, weeding, and application
  • Support fabrication, assembly, and finishing when required
  • Help run jobs through production and troubleshoot issues on the floor

3D Printing & Product Development

  • Operate and assist with 3D printers for prototypes and custom parts
  • Support product design, testing, and iteration
  • Assist in developing in-house products, fixtures, and tooling

General Support

  • Jump in where needed to support the team and meet deadlines
  • Help improve workflows, organization, and production efficiency
  • Support a clean, organized, and safe work environment

Qualifications

  • Experience in signage, fabrication, displays, or design-build environments preferred
  • Strong organizational and project coordination skills
  • Experience with Adobe Illustrator or similar design software
  • Comfortable working in a hands-on shop environment
  • Experience with or interest in:
  • Digital printing and vinyl production
  • 3D printing
  • CNC or fabrication workflows
  • Product design and prototyping

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $19.00-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
