THE OPPORTUNITY:

Tundra has an opportunity for a Production Accounting Student for an 4-month term starting May 2026 (May–August) based out of our Calgary, Alberta office.

REPORTS TO: Manager, Production Accounting

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

  • Provide technical and administrative support to the Production Accounting team
  • Assist with special projects and ad hoc tasks
  • Review production data for anomalies such as negatives or large variances
  • Verify Division of Interest (DOI) records in Metrix against Land data
  • Maintain an accurate and organized filing system
  • Support general office duties as required
  • Collaborate with internal teams including: Production Foremen, Field Operators, Royalty Clerk, Maintenance, Facilities & Construction, and Accounting departments
  • Communicate with external stakeholders including: Trucking companies Purchasers, Oil companies, Waste facilities, Pipeline companies, Government personnel

WHAT YOU NEED:

  • Currently enrolled in post-secondary education in Production Accounting, Accounting, Business, or a related field

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Self-motivated with a proactive attitude
  • Comfortable managing deadlines and adapting to changing workloads

  • This is an office-based position (Monday to Friday.
