Saturn has an opportunity for an Accounting Student based in the Calgary, Alberta office starting in May 2026. The Accounting Student will be a motivated self starter who is able to prioritize work and show excellent attention to detail.

Some specific duties, and responsibilities of the Accounting Student include, but are not limited to:

  • Prepare accounting transactions for entry into accounting software
  • Assist with month end closing reporting, adhering to corporate deadlines
  • Account reconciliations
  • Assist in the development of budgets and financial forecasts
  • Collaborate with other departments to gather financial information and resolve discrepancies
  • Identify and resolve discrepancies or issues in financial records
  • Additional adhoc duties as requested.

Candidates for this position will possess the following qualifications and competencies:

  • Must be currently enrolled in a Bachelor's program
  • Student must be able to commit to the full 4-month term
  • If applicable, the student must be willing to relocate to Calgary for the duration of the term
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work in a fast paced environment.
