We are currently seeking dedicated and compassionate Resident Services Associates to support the day-to-day needs of our residents. As a key member of our resident services team, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our residents by providing personalized support. Technical Skills and Knowledge

  • Resident Support: Knowledge of practices that assist residents with daily living while promoting their independence, including social activities and mobility support as needed.
  • Housekeeping and Environment Maintenance: Proficiency in maintaining a clean, safe, and organized living environment for residents. This includes regular cleaning of common areas, resident rooms, and bathrooms, as well as ensuring hygiene and safety standards are met. Familiarity with the use of cleaning supplies and equipment, along with an understanding of infection control practices, is essential.
  • Safety and Compliance: Understanding of safety protocols and regulations relevant to senior living, ensuring compliance with all health and safety standards.
  • Documentation: Proficiency in maintaining accurate records of resident interactions and reporting any concerns regarding resident well-being to the management team.
  • Emergency Response: Basic knowledge of emergency procedures and the ability to act swiftly and appropriately in critical situations.

Education and Training

  • Basic Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Additional certifications in caregiving or a related field are advantageous.
  • On-the-Job Training: Willingness to undergo training to meet the specific needs of our residents and community standards.
  • Continuing Education: Commitment to ongoing learning and development, staying updated on best practices in senior care.

Experience

  • Senior Living Experience: Previous experience in a senior living, hospitality, or customer service environment is preferred but not required. Training will be provided for those new to the field.
  • Housekeeping Experience: Previous experience in housekeeping or environmental services within a residential or healthcare setting is beneficial. This includes a demonstrated ability to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards.
  • Hospitality Service: Experience in a customer-facing role is beneficial, demonstrating the ability to interact positively with residents and their families.
  • Team Environment: Experience working as part of a team, contributing to collective goals, and supporting colleagues in a senior living or similar setting.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.60-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 24 per week

Work Location: In person
