At Ashwood Lodge, we strive to provide our residents with the appreciation they deserve, offering help with the transition from their homes to care at a slower pace.
Our Care Team is passionately creating a community with freedom of choice and always emphasizing personal dignity, privacy and independence.
As a part of our Care Team, you will be trained to perform the following duties;
- To assist residents with all aspects of residents’ daily living, ensuring all residents are clean and comfortable, and their own level of personal appearance is maintained.
- To prepare and serve food and drinks and promote good hydration throughout the day.
- To assist with medication administration to the residents and to maintain accurate administration records.
- To ensure residents remain stimulated and are encouraged to join in activities.
- To undertake daily housekeeping duties in communal areas and to maintain tidy bedrooms.
- To undertake meal-prep, cooking and serving meals.
We are able to accommodate beginners to care who need additional training and experience.
