About the Role

We are a growing food manufacturing and distribution company seeking a Sales & Operations Coordinator to support our supermarket channel operations. This role involves coordinating sales activities, managing daily communication with store contacts, supporting logistics arrangements, and ensuring smooth operational flow across multiple regions.

Key Responsibilities

1. Retail & Client Coordination

  • Maintain regular communication with supermarket department managers
  • Support daily needs related to replenishment, product availability, merchandising, and basic promotional activities
  • Monitor store-level product movement and gather feedback

2. Order & Delivery Coordination

  • Collect and organize customer orders
  • Arrange transportation with logistics partners and track delivery status
  • Assist with resolving basic delivery issues such as shortages or mis-shipments

3. Inventory & Warehouse Support

  • Update inventory data and track product levels
  • Communicate with warehouse teams regarding stock, pick-ups, and restocking needs

4. In-Store Demo Support

  • Schedule sampling/demo staff and coordinate necessary materials
  • Communicate demo details with stores and ensure smooth execution

5. Administrative & Reporting Tasks

  • Maintain simple sales and inventory spreadsheets
  • Assist with invoicing, payment follow-ups, and general documentation
  • Prepare routine internal reports as needed

Qualifications

  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to multitask
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient with Email, Excel, Google Sheets, and basic office software
  • Experience in retail, sales coordination, operations, logistics, or the food industry is an asset (not required)
  • English fluency; additional languages are an advantage
