In Home Care Provider

In this role, you will directly support persons served, ranging from 0 to 17 years of age, by providing compassionate, individualized care in a stable, home-based setting. You will play a vital role in enriching their overall quality of life by fostering a safe, nurturing, and developmentally supportive environment. This includes attending to their physical, emotional, mental, and social needs through structured routines, meaningful activities, and consistent guidance. Your responsibilities will involve delivering high-quality, day-to-day care in alignment with all Netsanak Wekowaw (My Siblings Home) LTD policies and procedures, as well as the Canadian Accreditation Council (CAC) standards. Additionally, you will oversee daily home operations ensuring a clean, organized, welcoming space, and work collaboratively team members, Case workers , and all other service providers to support each child's unique care plan, growth, and well-being.
Responsibilities
- Support persons served with personal hygiene and grooming routines, ensuring dignity, comfort, and adherence to daily care standards.
- Monitor and support the physical and mental well-being of persons served
- Administer or assist with medications (as authorized) and ensure proper documentation.
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals, taking dietary needs into account.
- Transport individuals to and from school, appointments, activities, and community outings.
- Plan and facilitate recreational, educational, and therapeutic activities.
- Support persons served with daily routines and life skills developmen.t
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized home environment.
- Communicate regularly with Home Supervisor.
- Observe and report any changes in behavior, health, or emotional state.
- Provide companionship, emotional support, and encouragement in daily living.
- Promote independence while ensuring safety and dignity of persons served.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $26.00-$29.00 per hour
