Blue Mountains ON, Canada The Nomad Home Chef Full time $40,000 - $50,000 per year

Please note this is not an immediate start position. This job will run from December 27th - mid March, ski season permitting.

Approximately 15 hours per week

As part of the team at The Nomad Home Chef, the Front of House is responsible for providing friendly and efficient customer service at The North Lodge at Craigleith Ski Club. This role ensures the lodge remains organized and stocked for a positive experience for members.

Responsibilities

· Greet customers in a warm and professional manner

· Operate the point of sales (POS) system to process transactions for break coverage

· Ensure food and beverage items are properly displayed and replenished

· Maintain cleanliness of the dining area and service counter

· Report equipment issues or supply shortages to leader

· Empty garbage cans throughout day

· Put away product and restock fridges at the end of each day to prepare for next service

· Do dishes for kitchen and take orders as required

Skills

· SmartServe Certification required

· Strong communication and organizational skills

· Ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-pressure environments

· Flexibility with working evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

· Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand on feet for extended periods of time

· Previous experience in a kitchen or front of house position an asset

Job Types: Part-time, Seasonal

Contract length: 3 months

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
