Air Source Home Comfort – Barrie, ON

Air Source Home Comfort is seeking a skilled, self-sufficient HVAC Service Technician to join our growing team. This role is ideal for an experienced technician who is confident working independently, making on-site decisions, and delivering high-quality service during our afternoon/evening service window (2:00 PM – 10:00 PM).

What We're Looking For

We're seeking a motivated technician with:

  • G2 Gas License
  • 2–3+ years of hands-on HVAC install and/or service experience
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to work independently without constant supervision
  • Confidence making real-time service decisions in the field

Assets (not required):

  • Sheet Metal 308R
  • 313D or 313A Refrigeration License

Shift Details

  • Afternoon / Evening Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
  • Full-time, permanent position
  • In-person work (service calls and installations)

This role is ideal for technicians who prefer later shifts and can be trusted to manage jobs independently.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

  • Minimum 2–3 years HVAC install/service experience
  • G2 Gas License (required)
  • Sheet metal and 313D/313A licenses are an asset
  • Valid Class G Driver's License with a clean abstract
  • Ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve on site
  • Comfortable working independently and making decisions
  • Pride in workmanship and jobsite appearance
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Must supply own hand tools
  • Eagerness to continue learning and advancing in the trade

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $20.00-$45.00 per hour
