The Payroll and Accounts Payable Clerk will support the overall financial health of the organization by maintaining accurate records and assisting with related accounting functions.

Duties

  • Process and verify invoices
  • Perform account reconciliations to ensure accuracy of payments and balances
  • Enter data accurately into Payroll and accounting systems including HRIS, ADP, Kronos, UltiPro, Ceridian, or similar platforms
  • Assist with accounts payable and receivable tasks to support overall bookkeeping activities
  • Collaborate with vendors and internal departments to resolve billing discrepancies
  • Maintain organized records of all transactions for audit purposes
  • Support payroll processing activities as needed, utilizing payroll systems like UltiPro, ADP or Kronos

Requirements

  • Proven experience with accounting software such as Workday, QuickBooks, HRIS systems, ADP, Kronos, UltiPro, PeopleSoft, or Ceridian
  • Strong data entry skills with high accuracy and attention to detail
  • Knowledge of accounts payable and receivable processes and bookkeeping principles
  • Familiarity with account reconciliation and analysis skills
  • Basic understanding of human resources functions related to payroll and employee data management
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
  • Strong communication skills for collaboration with vendors and internal teams
  • Prior experience in accounting or finance roles preferred but not required; relevant internships are also considered beneficial
