Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Dispatcher to coordinate transportation and logistics for our customers. The ideal candidate will manage calls ts, communicate effectively with drivers and clients, and utilize various transportation management systems to ensure timely and efficient service. This role requires strong communication skills, data entry accuracy, and the ability to analyze logistical data to optimize operations. The Dispatcher will play a vital role in maintaining smooth service service.

Duties

  • Coordinate and schedule calls using Transportation Management Systems .
  • Manage shipping & receiving activities, ensuring accurate documentation and timely processing of goods.
  • quote work for inquiring customers .
  • Communicate with drivers, clients, and internal teams via phone systems, and other computer software phone etiquette.
  • Enter data accurately into relevant systems, including freight details, delivery schedules, and tracking information.
  • Monitor dispatched calls insure completion of work
  • Oversee third-party logistics with service timelines and quality standards.
  • Track calls , resolve issues related to delays or discrepancies, and provide updates to stakeholders.
  • Assist in the analysis of costs and operational efficiencies to support strategic decision-making.

  • Excellent data entry skills with high accuracy in typing and record keeping.
  • Analytical skills to interpret logistics data and generate actionable insights.
  • Effective communication skills for clear interaction with drivers, vendors, internal team and customers
  • Ability to handle multi-line phone systems professionally with good phone etiquette.
  • Familiarity with GPS systems.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
