We are looking for an
Energy Delivery Scheduler

to join our Energy Delivery Services team. Reporting to the Work Plan Manager, you will be responsible for creating and communicating short- and long-term work plans for our field resource groups.

Key Elements Of This Role Include

  • You will effectively utilize resource allocation and work management technologies, systems, and tools to optimize the best solutions in scheduling resources to effectively meet project commitments and cost effectiveness.
  • You will optimize productivity of resources and work management processes through development of efficient work plans and utilizing short and long-range forecasts.
  • The Energy Delivery Scheduler is responsible for ensuring Resource Work Management Service Levels and Productivity reporting is completed and reviewed weekly, and action plans for scheduling system corrections/improvements are implemented as required.
  • You will also manage relationships with capital execution, contractor resources, operations managers, customer service, control center operations, engineering, procurement, 3rd party services, etc.
  • You will be responsible for your personal safety and that of co-workers by observing and ensuring compliance with all Occupational Health and Safety Rules and Regulations. You will be accountable for environmental performance as it relates to the environmental management system processes and initiatives.
  • You must be flexible and be available for overtime during peak seasons and after hour emergency service restoration.

These Skills Will Make You Successful

  • Bachelor's degree in business or equivalent, Industrial Engineering, Industrial Technologist, or minimum five years related experience.
  • Experience working for a regulated utility business would be considered an asset.
  • You have experience managing multiple projects, scheduling and resource allocation.
  • You are a team player who is a highly analytical, creative problem solver with strong communication skills. The successful candidate is a strategic user of technological tools such as Maximo, Field Service, CIS and Microsoft Office, and is knowledgeable in the areas of scheduling, planning, forecasting.
  • This position may require travel, you must possess a valid driver's license with a clear driver's abstract.
