Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. This role requires a proactive approach to cleaning tasks, effective time management, and strong communication skills to interact with clients and team members.
Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning duties including dusting, mopping, sweeping, and vacuuming in assigned areas.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for various cleaning tasks.
- Conduct facilities maintenance tasks as needed to ensure operational efficiency.
- Provide commercial cleaning services in diverse environments while adhering to safety protocols.
- Manage time efficiently to complete all cleaning assignments within designated timeframes.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and clients regarding cleaning needs and any issues encountered.
- Assist with heavy lifting when necessary, ensuring proper techniques are used to avoid injury.
- Maintain custodial supplies inventory and report any shortages or needs for replenishment.
Skills
- Proficient in the use of hand tools and power tools related to cleaning tasks.
- Experience in facilities maintenance and commercial cleaning preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to address client inquiries professionally.
- Prior custodial experience is a plus, demonstrating familiarity with cleaning protocols and standards.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with team members and interact positively with clients.
