Duties

  • Assist with basic food preparation tasks, including chopping, peeling, and assembling ingredients
  • Support cooking activities under supervision to ensure timely meal service
  • Maintain cleanliness of kitchen surfaces, utensils, and equipment through regular cleaning and sanitizing
  • Help with food handling procedures to ensure safety and hygiene standards are met
  • Assist with dishwashing and waste disposal to keep the kitchen organized and sanitary
  • Support serving staff during meal service as needed
  • Restock supplies and ingredients to ensure smooth kitchen operations
  • Follow all health and safety regulations related to food handling and sanitation

Requirements

  • Previous experience in restaurant, hotel, or food service environments is preferred but not required
  • Knowledge of cleaning procedures and food handling safety standards
  • Ability to work efficiently in a busy kitchen environment
  • Basic cooking skills and familiarity with food preparation techniques
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends or holidays if needed
  • A positive attitude and eagerness to learn about culinary operations and hospitality standards

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $17.60 per hour

Expected hours: 24 – 36 per week
