Product Support Rep I

Sous supervision, le représentant du support produit I vérifie et consigne les expéditions entrantes et sortantes des réparations et des articles connexes. Il emballe les articles et organise leur expédition. Il réceptionne, déballe et distribue les expéditions entrantes de réparations/OCU (unité de contrôle opérateur). Il traite toutes les commandes de réparation, y compris l'interface client et la tenue des registres pour les services après-vente.
RESPONSABILITÉS- Réceptionner les réparations et enregistrer les informations requises.
- S'assurer que les adresses d'expédition et de facturation sont disponibles et correctes.
- Déballer et traiter toutes les réparations, puis comparer le contenu et les bordereaux d'expédition.
- Créer et acheminer les RMA (autorisations de retour de marchandise) et les renvoyer à l'inventaire et aux fournisseurs.
- Traite les équipements nécessitant une mise à niveau.
- Vérifie que tous les équipements entrants et sortants sont correctement enregistrés et prépare les réparations sortantes pour l'expédition.
- Répond aux appels téléphoniques et fournit des informations sur les questions non techniques liées au service et traite toutes les demandes d'assistance.
- Contacte les clients pour obtenir les numéros de bon de commande et les informations pertinentes concernant les questions de facturation des services et les exigences de traitement spécial.
- Vérifie que les techniciens des services après-vente ont saisi le texte de la commande et les pièces utilisées dans le système informatique.
- Relit et corrige le texte pour vérifier la grammaire, l'orthographe, la ponctuation et le format. Corrige les erreurs si nécessaire.
- Organise l'expédition via le transporteur approprié pour les réparations terminées.
- Aide les autres services si nécessaire à résoudre les problèmes liés à la facturation et au traitement des commandes.
- Génère des rapports hebdomadaires sur les activités en cours dans le service après-vente.
- Capacité à saisir des données dans un ordinateur.
- Capacité à acquérir des connaissances de base sur les produits.
- Capacité à utiliser des outils manuels pour emballer les expéditions.
- Bonnes aptitudes à la communication orale.
- Compétences en relecture, révision, orthographe, rédaction et bon vocabulaire.
- Très bonne organisation.
- Au moins un an d'expérience dans le domaine ou combinaison équivalente d'études et d'expérience.

Under direct supervision, the Product Support Representative I verifies and keeps records on incoming and outgoing shipments of repairs and related items. Packages items and arranges for shipping. Receives, unpacks and distributes incoming repair/OCU (Operator Control Unit) shipments. Processes all repair orders including customer interface and record keeping for the service departments.
RESPONSIBILITIES- Receives repairs and logs required information.
- Assures that shipping addresses and billing addresses are available and correct.
- Unpacks and processes all repairs and compares contents and packing slips.
- Creates and routes RMA's and returns to inventory and vendors.
- Processes equipment requiring retro.
- Verifies that all incoming and outgoing equipment is properly logged; and prepares outgoing repairs for shipment.
- Answers telephone calls and provides information regarding non-technical service related issues and handles all Helpdesk requests.
- Contacts customers to obtain purchase order numbers and information pertinent to service billing issues and special handling requirements.
- Verifies service departments' technicians have entered order text and parts used to the computer system. Proofreads and edits text for grammar, spelling, punctuation, and format. Corrects errors as necessary.
- Arranges shipment via appropriate carrier for completed repairs.
- Assists other departments as necessary in resolving service related billing and order processing issues.
- Generates weekly reports on open activity in the service department.
- Ability to enter data into a computer.
- Ability to acquire basic product knowledge.
- Ability to use hand tools to pack shipments.
- Must have good verbal skills.
- Must be a competent in proofreading, editing, spelling, composition and possess a good vocabulary.
- Must be very well organized.
- Minimum of one year of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.

- Associates or better in a technical field
