Job description:

We are looking for a full-time Junior Recruiter / HR Administrator to join our team at our Richmond Hill office. Responsible for doing high volume recruiting to ensure the right talent is being hired. Working with a variety of departments, individuals, and deadlines to ensure recruitment needs are being met. The ideal candidate has at least 2 years' of recent experience in recruitment, is reliable, organized, results oriented and takes pride in producing meticulous work.

Job Responsibilities

  • Supports the recruitment operations for various lines of business such as head office operations, collections, and contact centres
  • Source qualified candidates for call centre – collection agent positions
  • High level communication; emails, phone calls and in person interviews
  • Using a variety of candidate assessment and interview techniques, search, prescreen, qualify, interview and secure the right candidates
  • Communicate with hiring managers candidate fit and key competencies
  • Administer necessary tests to candidates and distribute completed work to hiring teams for review
  • Present and negotiate rates/salaries and job offers including counter offers
  • Contact references and complete background checks
  • Select most appropriate advertising format for job postings
  • Use a variety of sourcing methods to continually build and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates
  • Assist with a variety of HR tasks

Must Have Skills:

  • 2+ years of progressive recruitment experience in a high-volume/ fast paced environment (agency or corporate)
  • Must be reliable, independent, motivated and results-driven
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Very good interpersonal, and decision-making skills.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced work environment
  • Very organized and works well under pressure
  • Ability to juggle competing deadlines, resilient
  • Prioritize the key tasks and responsibilities of the role and be able to quickly zero in on the critical tasks while still accomplishing the goals within the role.

  • Open to continuous learning and seeking feedback and advice when faced with new or challenging situations.
  • Achieving goals/targets gives you a great deal of intrinsic satisfaction
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite and managing databases
  • Completed College Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or other business related field

Required Hours at our Richmond Hill Office:

  • Monday to Friday 8:30 am – 5:00 pm
