Bakery Manager – L'aromas Bakehouse (Tsawwassen, BC)

L'aromas Bakehouse is growing, and we're looking for a passionate, hands-on Bakery Manager to lead our talented team in Delta (Tsawwassen), BC.

Your Role

As Bakery Manager, you'll lead daily production, inspire a high-performing team, and help shape the next chapter of our bakery. You're a creative, energetic leader who's excited to innovate, roll up your sleeves, and drive excellence in everything we make.

What You'll Do

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of bakers and support staff
  • Oversee daily operations to ensure efficiency, quality, and consistency
  • Create and launch new products based on trends and customer insights
  • Maintain strong relationships with cafés and wholesale partners
  • Manage ordering, inventory, and supplier relationships to optimize costs
  • Uphold all health, safety, and sanitation standards
  • Collaborate with senior leadership on growth initiatives
  • Represent the bakery at community events and fundraisers

What You Bring

  • 2+ years supervisory experience (bakery, food production, food service, or hospitality)
  • 3+ years commercial baking experience
  • Passion for baking and product development
  • Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills
  • Ability to manage high-volume, hands-on production with precision
  • Solid organizational, problem-solving, and basic financial skills
  • Comfort with early mornings (5am) and weekend shifts
  • Computer proficiency (email, Word, Excel, basic data entry)
  • Your own vehicle
  • Ability to work on your feet, lift up to 25kg, and meet physical requirements of a busy bakery
