Delta, Canada Monte Cristo Bakery Ltd Full time

Reporting to the Production Manager, the Production Supervisor leads our production personnel teams and oversees daily operations to ensure that all quality, safety and production efficiency standards committed to by Monte Cristo Bakery are upheld everyday. This is a key role that will interface with plant management and uphold MCB's philosophy - 'Quality above all else'.

**Responsibilities**:

- Works with plant management and other supervisory staff to assign, direct, review and monitor work of supervised staff to maximize productivity in the plant
- Ensures proper procedures are in place and being followed for production efficiency, quality of product
- Ensure compliance with GMP, food safety and quality programs and initiatives.
- Enforces company’s Health and Safety programs, do hazard and risk assessments
- Evaluates needs in production for daily assignment of duties; establishes or adjusts work procedures to meet production schedules
- Inspects products to verify conformance to specifications
- Maintains time and production records as required
- Assures compliance of all production operations with company policy and applicable provincial and federal regulations with consistency
- Performs other duties as assigned

**Skills/Qualifications**:

- Post secondary education related to manufacturing or production is mandatory
- At least 2 years production experience of a food manufacturing background
- Hands on experience with an automated production line
- Proficient in use of MS Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong time management, organizational and interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written with strong attention to detail
