Overview
We are seeking an exceptionally polished and charismatic Guest Relations Executive to be the definitive first and last impression for our clientele at a premier high-end restaurant and nightlife destination in Toronto. This pivotal role is responsible for curating a seamless and exclusive guest journey, ensuring an atmosphere of sophistication, excitement, and impeccable service from the moment of inquiry through to departure. The ideal candidate must possess an innate ability to manage a demanding reservation system, expertly navigate high-pressure situations, and maintain composed grace during peak dining and late-night service hours. A profound understanding of luxury service standards and an ability to read and manage a room's dynamic are essential.
Responsibilities
- Elite Guest Reception: Warmly and professionally welcome and seat high-profile guests, VIPs, and all patrons, meticulously managing the dining room flow and pacing to optimize guest experience and table turnover.
- Reservation Management: Expertly manage the high-volume, dynamic reservations platform (e.g., OpenTable, etc), handling waitlists, special requests, and sensitive seating arrangements (e.g., table requests for VIPs or key regulars).
- Concierge-Level Inquiries: Serve as the primary point of contact for complex guest inquiries, special event requests, and handling pre-shift guest intelligence (e.g., reviewing notes on returning VIPs, dietary restrictions).
- Issue Resolution: Proactively and discreetly resolve guest concerns with tact and diplomacy, ensuring any necessary compensation or service recovery maintains the high-end standard of the establishment.
- Nightlife Coordination: During the late-night component, assist in managing the flow and entry process, verifying bookings, and collaborating with security/management to uphold the establishment's exclusivity and conduct standards.
- Brand Promotion: Articulate and promote exclusive events, tasting menus, and bottle service options with confidence and detailed knowledge.
- Administrative Excellence: Maintain accurate guest profiles, manage correspondence (phone/email) with professionalism, and contribute to the maintenance of daily service reports.
Experience & Profile
- Mandatory Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in a high-volume, luxury, or high-end dining or nightlife venue. Experience in Toronto's hospitality scene is a significant asset.
- Reservation System Proficiency: Demonstrated expertise in managing advanced reservation and seating software (e.g., OpenTable, SevenRooms).
- Exceptional Communication: Articulate, persuasive, and refined communication skills, both verbal and written, capable of interacting with a demanding and high-net-worth clientele.
- Professional Presence: Impeccable grooming and dress, reflecting the sophisticated standard of a high-end Toronto establishment.
This role is for a dedicated and energetic professional eager to shape the guest experience at one of Toronto's premier new venues. Passion for fine dining, cocktails, and the art of nightlife hospitality is essential.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
