Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role based in Cambridge, ON, for an Electrical Engineer. In this position, the Electrical Engineer will be responsible for electrical design, power systems analysis, and power distribution planning. Day-to-day tasks include developing and reviewing electrical schematics, collaborating with project teams to ensure compliance with engineering standards, and supporting clients in optimizing energy solutions. Additionally, the engineer will contribute to quality assurance and provide technical support throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Electrical Design and thorough knowledge of Electrical Engineering principles
- Strong understanding of Power Systems and Power Distribution systems
- Proficiency in Electricity fundamentals and relevant safety standards
- Ability to analyze technical documents and provide practical engineering solutions to meet project needs
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and team collaboration skills
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field; professional engineering designation is an asset
- Experience in the energy/power sector and working with MV/HV equipment is highly desirable
