Overview

We are seeking a professional and organized Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for visitors and clients, providing exceptional customer service and administrative support. This role requires strong communication skills, proficiency with office software, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Experience with QuickBooks, and Google Workspace is highly desirable. The Receptionist will play a vital role in maintaining smooth office operations and ensuring a positive experience for all visitors.

Duties

  • Greet visitors and clients warmly, ensuring a professional front desk presence
  • Manage multi-line phone systems, route calls appropriately, and handle inquiries with excellent phone etiquette
  • Schedule appointments and maintain calendars using Microsoft Office and Google Workspace tools
  • Perform data entry, filing, and record keeping with high accuracy and attention to detail
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as proofreading documents, organizing files, and managing correspondence
  • Support bookkeeping activities using QuickBooks or similar software as needed
  • Provide customer support via phone, email, or in person to address questions or concerns
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area and front desk
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient office operations

Qualifications

  • Proven clerical or administrative experience
  • Strong computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets), and data entry software
  • Experience with QuickBooks or bookkeeping is a plus
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
  • Exceptional customer service skills with professional phone etiquette
  • Ability to handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
  • Attention to detail for proofreading and document management
  • Prior experience with front desk duties, multi-line phone systems, filing, and administrative support is preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional office or medical/dental office training is advantageous

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00-$24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
