Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Assistant Manger based in Ottawa, ON. The Assistant Manager will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, assisting clients with product selections, and maintaining product displays to ensure optimal shop presentation. Additional responsibilities include processing transactions, staying informed on current fashion trends, and supporting the team during events and peak times. The role requires building strong relationships with clients and contributing to an upscale and professional shopping experience at the boutique.
Qualifications
- Customer Service: Strong interpersonal skills, an ability to build rapport with clients, and a commitment to delivering a premium shopping experience.
- Luxury Retail: Knowledge of fashion and luxury brands, experience in retail sales, and an understanding of customer preferences in a high-end retail environment.
- Merchandising: Skills in maintaining visually appealing product displays and familiarity with inventory management practices.
- Sales: Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets, demonstrate product knowledge, and handle transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Communication: Excellent verbal communication skills for interacting with clients and collaborating with team members.
- Additional Skills: Adaptability, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Fluency in French is an asset but not required.
