Director of Marketing

Role Overview:
Reporting to the Country General Manager, with dotted line to the Chief Marketing & Admissions Officer, the Director of Marketing & Admissions for Canada will lead the strategic development and operational execution of marketing and admissions across Globeducate's Canadian schools (currently Toronto Prep School, Clover School and Blyth Academy). This role is pivotal in driving enrolment growth, enhancing brand visibility, and ensuring alignment with Globeducate's global standards and local market dynamics.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership
- Develop and implement country-level marketing and admissions strategic plans aligned with Globeducate's Long Range Plan (LRP) and Value Creation Plan (VCP).
- Provide comprehensive support to Canadian schools and ensure effective oversight of pricing strategy and implementation.
- Collaborate with the CMO and Country CEO to set annual objectives and KPIs for each school, ensuring alignment with enrolment targets.
- Lead initiatives to improve conversion rates across the admissions pipeline (enquiry, visit, application, acceptance, enrolment, start) across the region.
Team Management & Development
- Oversee and support school-level Marketing and Admissions Managers, ensuring consistent performance and professional growth.
- Facilitate best practice sharing across Canadian schools and contribute to global MAD team sessions.
Marketing and Digital Mkt
- Define and implement marketing strategies/plans for each school within the Canadian cluster.
- Ensure consistent application of brand guidelines across all communications, digital platforms, and events.
- Drive the market's digital marketing strategy in partnership with Globeducate's Head of Digital, covering SEO, paid media, UX, and social channels. Lead the rollout to ensure measurable efficiencies in early-stage funnel management, driving lead quality, conversion rates, and cost optimization.
- Lead PR, media, and digital campaigns, including organic and paid lead generation (Google, Meta).
- Manage agencies and suppliers.
- Drive HubSpot CRM adoption and optimization.
Admissions & Retention
- Oversee annual enrolment campaigns, re-enrolment processes, and retention planning.
- Provide accurate forecasting and reporting on enrolment performance.
Budget & Compliance
- Manage marketing budgets and ensure cost efficiency.
- Align all activities with Globeducate policies and compliance standards.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong leadership and coaching ability.
- Expertise in marketing, digital marketing, admissions, and CRM systems.
- Analytical skills for forecasting and KPI reporting.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
- Ability to work in a matrix structure and collaborate across global teams.
Preferred Experience:
- Minimum 8–10 years in marketing/admissions leadership roles, ideally in K-12 education or premium service sectors.
- University Degree in Business or Marketing, or a related field required
- Proven track record in enrolment growth, marketing and digital marketing.

Base salary starting at $125,000+.
