Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients in your assigned territory.
  • Identify and pursue new sales opportunities to expand market presence.
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets through effective pipeline management.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
  • Conduct market research to understand customer needs and industry trends.
  • Monitor and report on sales performance metrics regularly.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations to potential clients.
  • Negotiate contracts and close sales effectively.
  • Collaborate with team members to share insights and strategies for success.
  • Utilize CRM tools to track sales activities and customer interactions.
  • Maintain a high level of product knowledge to assist customers effectively.
  • Provide feedback to management on market conditions and competitor activities.

Experience/Qualifications

  • Proven experience in territory sales for heavy equipment or related industries.
  • Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales targets consistently.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and personal growth.
  • Strong ability to build and maintain client relationships in a remote setting.
  • Excellent negotiation skills to close deals effectively and efficiently.
  • High level of product knowledge to effectively assist and educate customers.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools for tracking sales activities and customer interactions.
  • Strong presentation skills to deliver compelling sales pitches to clients.
  • Team-oriented mindset with a focus on individual accountability and results.
  • Ability to conduct thorough market research and analyze industry trends.
