Overview

We are seeking a friendly, attentive Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will excel in providing exceptional guest service, ensuring a memorable dining experience for all patrons. This role requires a strong understanding of food and beverage service, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Prior restaurant experience and familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS are highly valued. The Server will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, handling cash transactions, and maintaining sanitation standards to ensure guest satisfaction and safety.

Duties

  • Greet guests warmly and provide attentive guest service throughout their dining experience
  • Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems like Micros POS
  • Serve food and drinks promptly while ensuring presentation quality
  • Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales
  • Handle cash, credit card transactions, and perform cashiering duties accurately
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tables, dining areas, and service stations in compliance with food safety standards
  • Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
  • Ensure guest satisfaction by addressing concerns promptly and professionally
  • Follow all food handling, sanitation, and safety protocols at all times

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in food service or restaurant industry preferred but not required
  • Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
  • Excellent time management and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately
  • Familiarity with food safety standards and sanitation procedures
  • Ability to communicate clearly with guests and team members
  • Knowledge of food handling, preparation, and serving techniques is advantageous
  • Hospitality mindset with a focus on guest satisfaction and upselling opportunities
