Riders Corner Contracting is a fast-growing general contracting company based in Calgary, known for delivering high-quality residential and commercial construction services. As we continue to expand our operations and embrace digital tools on and off the job site, we are looking for a reliable and proactive IT Support Technician to join our team.

Role Overview:

The IT Support Technician will be responsible for maintaining and supporting the company's internal IT systems, hardware, software, and networks. You will play a critical role in ensuring our office and field teams can rely on secure, well-functioning technology to stay productive.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide first-line technical support to staff for hardware, software, and connectivity issues
  • Set up and maintain workstations, laptops, tablets, and mobile devices
  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot printers, routers, and other office equipment
  • Maintain and support internal networking systems and shared drives
  • Assist with onboarding and offboarding employees in all IT-related areas
  • Track and resolve support tickets and document issues and resolutions
  • Coordinate with external vendors for specialized IT needs
  • Support software tools used by site teams (e.g., project management apps, file-sharing platforms)
  • Maintain IT asset inventory and licensing records

Qualifications:

  • Diploma or degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
  • 1–3 years of experience in a help desk, IT technician, or support role
  • Solid understanding of Windows and Microsoft 365 environments
  • Familiarity with basic networking, VPNs, and cloud-based systems
  • Strong troubleshooting and communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and respond quickly in a dynamic work environment
  • Experience working in construction, trades, or field-service industries is an asset
  • Valid driver's license preferred (occasional visits to job sites may be required)
