About us

Big Bam Burger is a fun, family-friendly fast-casual restaurant offering delicious, high quality, Smash Burgers, hand-breaded Chicken Sandwiches, old-fashioned Milkshakes, Ice Cream and more We are looking for friendly, courteous candidates to join our dynamic team at our location at 2416 Lakeshore Rd W, Oakville, ON (near Bronte Rd). Being able to multi-task, work as part of a team and independently, and be able to thrive in a fast-based, guest first, workplace.

We are currently hiring for full-time and part-time help during weekday days.

Please kindly review your travelling distance and time to this location before applying for this position. Public transportation in this area may have limited hours and routes on weekends, evenings and holidays. We will only hire candidates that are reliably able to commute to work.

Responsibilities:

- Providing our guests with outstanding hospitality by being courteous, genuinely friendly, witty attentive, efficient, accurate, and anticipating their needs.

- Be able to effectively and fluently communicate with our guests and meet their requests and exceed their expectations.

- Prepare and serve food items including smash burgers, chicken sandwiches and sides according to company standards

- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen and dining areas

- Follow all food safety procedures and guidelines including proper hygiene, sanitation, and food rotation.

- Communicate and work well with other team members to ensure smooth operation of the restaurant and to ensure guests are looked after at all times.

Skills:

- Food handling and food safety experience

- Some previous cooking/kitchen experience

- Attention to detail

- Able to multi-task

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

- Excellent organizational and time management skills

- Basic math skills for cash handling and order accuracy

- Ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively

- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Pay: $17.60-$18.60 per hour
