Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Night Team Member to join our dynamic restaurant team. This role is essential for ensuring smooth overnight operations, maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation, and providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will have experience in food preparation, food handling, and restaurant operations, with strong time management skills to efficiently manage duties during night shifts.

Duties

  • Prepare and assemble food items according to established recipes and quality standards
  • Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, for order processing and cashiering functions
  • Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, including cash handling and upselling opportunities
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen and dining areas in compliance with food safety regulations
  • Ensure proper food safety practices are followed during food handling and preparation
  • Assist with serving customers in a friendly and professional manner
  • Manage time effectively to complete tasks within designated shift hours
  • Support inventory management by monitoring stock levels and notifying supervisors of shortages
  • Uphold sanitation standards through regular cleaning routines and adherence to health guidelines

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or food industry preferred
  • Knowledge of POS systems, especially Micros POS, is a plus
  • Strong customer service skills with a friendly attitude
  • Basic math skills for cash handling and order calculations
  • Experience in food preparation, serving, and food safety protocols
  • Ability to work independently during night shifts with minimal supervision
  • Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently
  • Kitchen experience or food industry background is advantageous
  • Ability to handle food safely and maintain sanitation standards at all times
