WCD is hiring a Senior Business Development Executive who is an experienced, strategic, high-impact sales professional to drive enterprise growth across managed services, workflow automation, AI-enabled workplace solutions, digitization and large-scale back-office optimization.

This is a unique opportunity to join a transforming 70-year-old company at a pivotal and exciting moment. You'll build new enterprise relationships, close multi-year contracts, work closely with technology partners, influence WCD's go-to-market strategy, and help shape a future sales organization.

This role requires a high-performing individual contributor who enjoys networking and takes initiative to develop trusted relationships with senior level contacts within large enterprise and public sector customers.

What You'll Do

  • Build senior-level relationships with enterprise and public-sector clients
  • Identify, qualify, and win high-value, multi-year contracts
  • Drive new business in target industries: Energy, Utilities, Government, Education, Real Estate, Financial Services, and more
  • Lead discovery sessions and create compelling insights that challenge customer assumptions
  • Develop and deliver tailored presentations, proposals, and Statements of Work
  • Lead strategic pursuits and contribute to major RFP responses
  • Build and manage a disciplined pipeline using HubSpot  
  • Partner with internal SMEs to design customer solutions
  • Help shape WCD's evolving service offerings, including AI and automation
  • Represent WCD at industry events, conferences, and executive forums
  • Work closely with a highly entrepreneurial and collaborative team

Professional Experience

  • 5+ years of enterprise consultative selling, ideally in:
    • Information Management and ECM
    • Managed Services
    • Digital Transformation, Digitization and/or Workflow Automation
    • Technology and/or Software Development related Services
  • Proven ability to exceed quotas and close complex multi-year deals
  • Strong executive presence with comfort engaging C-Suite and VP-level stakeholders
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-moving, entrepreneurial environment
