About Artificial Lift
Halliburton's Artificial Lift Product Service Line delivers industry-leading electric submersible pumps (ESP), gas lift systems, and production optimization technologies. Our solutions maximize reservoir recovery, extend run life, and improve production efficiency across a wide range of well conditions. From advanced motor technology to downhole monitoring systems, Artificial Lift integrates engineering, reliability, and field operations to deliver safe, consistent, and high-performance production outcomes for customers worldwide.

About The Role
Under broad direction, the
Principal Account Representative
serves as a senior commercial leader responsible for driving large-scale revenue growth, market penetration, and strategic customer relationships across the Artificial Lift portfolio. This role leverages deep subject matter expertise, executive-level customer access, and commercial judgment to position Halliburton as a trusted partner for complex production challenges.

The Principal Account Representative shapes account strategy, influences long-term commercial outcomes, and plays a key role in mentoring less experienced sales professionals while directly creating value through high-impact customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and execute strategic account plans that maximize profitability, market share, and long-term customer value across high-revenue accounts.
  • Develop a deep understanding of customer business objectives, production challenges, and technical drivers to position integrated Artificial Lift solutions.
  • Align Halliburton's technical, commercial, and operational capabilities with customer needs through consultative engagement and solution-based selling.
  • Deliver executive-level technical and commercial presentations, articulating value propositions that differentiate Halliburton's offerings.
  • Maintain and expand senior-level relationships with customer decision-makers, influencers, and technical leaders.
  • Actively pursue opportunities within both assigned and non-assigned accounts to expand market reach and portfolio penetration.
  • Play a leadership role in the business planning and forecasting process, contributing market intelligence and growth strategies.
  • Collaborate closely with PSL leadership, operations, engineering, and solutions teams to ensure successful execution of commercial commitments.
  • Provide guidance, coaching, and informal mentorship to less experienced account representatives, supporting capability development across the team.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or related discipline.
  • 10-15 years of progressive experience in business development, technical sales, or account management within oilfield services, energy, or a related industry.
  • Proven track record managing large, complex accounts with revenue responsibility typically ranging from $50M to $150M.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence senior customer stakeholders and close high-value commercial opportunities.
  • Strong understanding of production operations, Artificial Lift technologies, and value-based selling approaches.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to operate independently, exercise sound commercial judgment, and lead through influence rather than authority.
