Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our culinary team. In this role, you will assist in the preparation and cooking of high-quality meals in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Your attention to detail and commitment to food safety will ensure that our guests receive delicious and safe dining experiences.

Duties

  • Assist in food preparation, including chopping, slicing, and marinating ingredients.
  • Cook menu items according to recipes and presentation standards.
  • Ensure all food handling and safety guidelines are followed.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area.
  • Help with inventory management by monitoring stock levels and notifying management of shortages.
  • Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient meal service.
  • Participate in daily kitchen operations, including setup and breakdown of workstations.

Experience

  • Previous experience in a kitchen environment preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential.
  • Familiarity with food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment.
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and practices is a plus.
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented atmosphere while maintaining a positive attitude under pressure.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively interact with team members.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.00-$18.00 per hour
