Overview
We are seeking a professional and organized Medical Receptionist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing front desk operations, providing excellent patient service, and supporting the clinical staff. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic medical environment where attention to detail and strong communication skills are essential. Prior experience with MEDACESS EMR with electronic medical records and office management systems is a MUST for this position. Also we are looking for candidate with more supervising and managment expereince to be a team lead or supervisor.
Responsibilities
- Greet patients and visitors warmly, ensuring a positive first impression
- Schedule appointments and manage patient flow efficiently using electronic scheduling systems
- Verify patient information and insurance details, updating records accurately
- Answer multi-line phone systems promptly and professionally, directing calls as needed
- Prepare and maintain patient charts using Electronic Medical Records (EMR)
- Collect copays and payments, process billing, and handle administrative tasks at the front desk
- Assist with patient check-in and check-out procedures, ensuring compliance with privacy regulations
- Manage correspondence, including emails and faxes, related to patient care and administrative needs
- Support clinical staff by coordinating referrals, lab requests, and other administrative duties
- manage referral to other health care providers.
- multitasking is a core aspect of this position, being frinedly toward patients, answering phone calls proptly, with positive attitute and keen to help.
Requirements
- Prior experience as Medical Office Assistant
- Proficiency with Electronic Medical Records systems MEDACCESS
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare documentation standards
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Experience handling multi-line phone systems with professionalism and efficiency
- Office experience in a healthcare setting is highly desirable
- Exceptional communication skills to interact effectively with patients, providers, and staff
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $17.00-$20.00 per hour
