Position Summary:

Beretta Farms Ltd. is seeking a highly organized and technically skilled Industrial Maintenance Planning Lead to oversee maintenance scheduling, reliability planning, and continuous improvement of plant equipment within our beef processing facility.

This leadership role is responsible for ensuring preventative and corrective maintenance is carried out effectively, while minimizing downtime and supporting safe, efficient operations. The successful candidate brings a blend of engineering expertise, leadership ability, and planning precision to support a world-class food production environment.

Key Responsibilities:

· Develop and maintain preventative maintenance (PM) plans, schedules, and checklists.

· Lead planning for equipment repairs, overhauls, and capital upgrades in collaboration with the Plant Manager and Maintenance Team.

· Analyze maintenance history, downtime trends, and equipment performance to recommend reliability improvements.

· Coordinate contractor and technician workloads to ensure optimal resource use and minimal production disruption.

· Support root cause analysis (RCA) and reliability-centered maintenance processes.

· Document, update, and enforce maintenance SOPs in compliance with safety and food safety regulations.

· Utilize procurement best practices to ensure inventory & parts availability for scheduled work.

· Track KPIs and schedule compliance; provide weekly/monthly reports to management.

· Support team leadership through mentorship and guidance for maintenance staff.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical Engineering, or a related field (required).

· 3–5+ years of experience in industrial or food manufacturing maintenance, preferably with planning responsibilities.

· Solid understanding of mechanical systems, automation, conveyors, pneumatics, and electrical controls.

· Demonstrated experience with CMMS software and maintenance scheduling.

· Knowledge of HACCP, CFIA, OH&S, and food industry compliance standards.

· Certification in Project Management, Lean Six Sigma, or Maintenance Reliability (an asset).

· Strong analytical, time management, and organizational skills.

Full-time, Monday to Friday
