  • Partner with Business Intelligence (BI), Enterprise Solutions, Commercial Solutions Development, Product Portfolio Owners and Operations to design and deliver integrated system landscapes supporting business outcomes.
  • Lead and participate in data governance committees, providing technical insights into data quality, integrity, and interoperability.

What are we looking for from you?

  • Deep knowledge of modern data governance and security practices, including the implementation of data catalogs, data lineage, and ensuring data security through encryption and fine-grained access control
  • Strong understanding of data governance, quality management, metadata, and master data practices.
  • Demonstrated experience in cloud-based data services (e.g., Microsoft Fabric/Purview, Azure SQL, Data Factory, Synapse) and modern integration platforms.
  • Skilled in building and maintaining complex data environments supporting analytics, operations, and reporting.
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into business outcomes.
  • Strong leadership, project management, and vendor management abilities.
  • Experience designing and managing modern data architectures, including cloud data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, Azure Synapse), data lakes, and real-time data streaming platforms (e.g., Apache Kafka) an asset.
  • Experience with enterprise database technologies (SQL Server, Oracle, etc.) and integration platforms (Boomi, MuleSoft, Informatica, or equivalent).
  • Familiarity with cloud services (Azure, Microsoft Fabric/Purview, AWS) and hybrid data integration architectures.

What else is in it for you?

  • Comprehensive benefits (including health, dental, vision, and prescription drug coverage) starting on your first day
  • Flex credits to allocate toward a Health Spending Account, Wellness Spending Account, or RRSP
  • Participation in a defined benefit pension plan (PSPP)
  • Flexible work arrangements with hybrid and remote opportunities
  • Winter Holiday closure and generous vacation and special leave days
  • A strong culture of wellness, recognition, and continuous learning aligned with AFSC's People Promise

Qualifications

  • Degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
  • Minimum 8–10 years in data management or integration roles, with leadership experience.
  • Certifications in Data Management, Database Administration, or Integration Architecture considered an asset.
