About the Role

Our Lead Baker supports day-to-day bakery production, guides junior bakers, and ensures the consistent quality of all baked goods. This role suits a skilled baker ready to take a leadership step.

Responsibilities

  • Produce breads, pastries, cookies, croissants and specialty items.
  • Oversee daily production schedule to ensure freshness.
  • Train and support junior and entry level staff.
  • Maintain cleanliness, organization, and food safety standards.
  • Assist with recipe development and seasonal offerings.
  • Monitor stock and communicate ordering needs.
  • Maintain high standards of presentation and consistency.

What You Bring

  • Diploma/certificate in Baking & Pastry Arts is a big asset.
  • Previous professional baking experience required.
  • Strong understanding of baking techniques.
  • Ability to supervise a small team.
  • Early morning availability.
  • Food Handler Certificate required.
  • Creativity and a commitment to quality.
