Physiotherapy/Administrative Assistant

Active Lead Physiotherapy Clinic is one of Prince George's newest physiotherapy clinics We offer a newly renovated open concept clinic design to help patients on their journey to recovery. Our physiotherapy and rehabilitation techniques are used to treat workplace injuries, motor vehicle accidents, sports injuries, sprains and strains, and we help those recovering from surgery.

We are looking for a reliable and motivated Physiotherapy/Administrative Assistant to join our growing team. The role of this individual is to support our physiotherapy team with both physiotherapy assistant duties and front desk administrative duties. The role is quite dynamic and involves direct patient care.

If you enjoy working in a fun and stress free environment then this job is for you On the job training is provided so previous experience is beneficial but not required. An interest in fitness would be an asset, as well as previous customer service.

Job Description:

Physiotherapy Assistant Duties:

  • Carry out exercise programs under the direction of the physiotherapist
  • Set patients up with various modalities
  • Clean and maintain equipment and perform laundry duties
  • Personal training or fitness background beneficial

Administrative Assistant Duties:

  • Schedule and confirm appointments via phone or in person
  • Perform various administrative tasks (email, fax and scanning)
  • Take payment and process extended health benefits
  • Perform billing and invoicing tasks
  • Accounts receivable and payable

Education/Skills:

  • Grade 12 Diploma
  • Basic computer skills
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Works well in a team environment
  • Able to multitask
  • Personal training or fitness background beneficial (but not required)
  • Kinesiology diploma beneficial (but not required)
