The Role

As an Account Manager on the Partnerships team, you will promote the power of Neo to help retail brands (small and large) reach new customers, grow sales and achieve better business outcomes. You are the day-to-day contact for our merchant partners and are responsible for driving higher adoption and success, educating owners and staff on best practices that enable them to leverage Neo to the fullest extent. Beyond the day-to-day, you will be supporting our merchant partners to think about how we can partner together to drive customer acquisition and spend.

What you'll be Doing

  • Develop and manage value-based relationships with a portfolio of merchant partner accounts
  • In collaboration with your accounts, create and maintain success plans for achieving growth goals
  • Manage operations of your partner portfolio ensuring CRM hygiene and accurate location, funding, and transaction-matching data.
  • Drive higher adoption rates, and educate owners on best practices that enable them to leverage Neo's platform and marketing opportunities to the fullest extent
  • Perform regular weekly, monthly and quarterly reviews with partners on goals, obstacles, insights and opportunities.
  • Collaborate with other Neo teams such as marketing, operations, support, creative, etc. to deliver a world class partner experience with Neo.
  • Identify opportunities to cross-sell and up-sell partners on additional growth and marketing opportunities with Neo.
  • Inspire your partners to think strategically about how our platform can support their business needs.
  • Understand the partnerand how our solutions can bring value to them and build stronger engagement and intelligence with their customers.
  • Escalate where needed, and follow-up promptly to ensure partner expectations are exceeded.

Who we're Looking for

  • Bachelor's degree preferred but not required
  • 2+ years of experience in customer success, sales, marketing, business development, consulting, account management, or similar role
  • Proven ability to work in a high energy and fast paced environment with cross-functional teams
  • Startup or SaaS background from a fast-growing company preferred
  • Excellent communication, time management, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to sell ideas, concepts and have a drive to innovate
  • Professional presence, presentation and public speaking skills
  • Ownership and team-based mentality
