Job Summary

The Service Advisor is a key member of our Automotive Service Centre. You will work directly with customers and technicians, manage expectations, and ensure that vehicle maintenance and repair processes run smoothly from start to finish.

Responsibilities

  • Greet, assist, and thank customers in a friendly manner in person and over the phone
  • Provide knowledgeable, trustworthy automotive service advice
  • Listen actively to understand customer concerns
  • Create work orders and review cost estimates with customers
  • Manage customer expectations regarding repair timelines
  • Serve as the communication link between customers and technicians
  • Schedule service appointments
  • Ensure compliance with Health & Safety regulations
  • Support smooth operational workflow in the Service Centre

Requirements / Skills

  • Knowledge of automotive mechanics
  • Ability to work required hours (7:30 AM – 5:00 PM)
  • Approachable and customer-focused attitude
  • Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and perform physical tasks (lifting, reaching, etc.)
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Strong computer skills; CRM experience is an asset
  • Ability to plan, organize, delegate, and follow up on daily tasks
  • Valid Nova Scotia driver's licence
  • Knowledge of automotive parts and components
  • Previous experience in automotive parts or service is a strong asset

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.50-$18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
