Catalyst Sales and Marketing is seeking a Customer Service Representative to support our sales team and ensure a seamless experience for our customers. In this role, you will assist in managing customer inquiries, creating and processing quotes, maintaining CRM data, and supporting sales initiatives. The ideal candidate is highly organized, customer-focused, and eager to learn about electrical products, lighting, and new technologies. This position offers an exciting opportunity to grow within a dynamic company that represents top global manufacturers in the Atlantic Canadian market.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has knowledge of business administration, sales and marketing.
  • Is competent in Microsoft Office and Canva.
  • Can work well in a team environment and is self driven.
  • Is interested in electrical products, lighting, and learning about new technologies.
  • Can learn and manage all aspects of small business including, CRM, project management, KPI's and strategic planning.

Daily tasks include:

  • Support for managers in the territory by helping customers understand the products and services being offered, providing price & delivery, creating quotations, fielding customer service requests.
  • Manage and update customer database/CRM. Ensure management are aware of any issues/opportunities related to an account.
  • Handle customer complaints promptly, effectively and report potential claims.
  • Carry out sales and merchandise programs as directed and recommend new items for distributor/showroom stock.
  • Participate in training sessions, trade shows, and sales meetings as requested. (National/International travel potentially required).
  • Reacting quickly and efficiently to all customer requests.

Considered an asset

  • Customer service or sales experience
  • Post secondary in electrical, electronics or a business-related program
