Based out of Calgary, Longhorn Geomatics is an emerging leader in the land surveying service sector providing services to the Oil and Gas Industry. As such, we continually strive to offer our clients outstanding service at the most competitive price. With this in mind, we seek highly motivated, performance driven personnel who are looking to contribute on a higher level for the following positions:

- SURVEY PARTY CHIEFS (Oil and Gas Surveying) required immediately

Position Requirements:

  • Preferred 3 years' experience with Alberta Oilfield Surveying Industry (Crew Chief)
  • Preferred 3 years' experience with Alberta Oilfield Surveying Industry (Surveyor Assistant)
  • Valid Driver's license and clean abstract
  • Own transportation is an asset
  • Possession of the following Safety Tickets: H2S Alive, First-Aid, WHMIS
  • Position requires a flexible schedule and ability to travel throughout Alberta
  • Ability to work in any weather conditions
  • Steel Toed CSA boots required (all other PPE will be supplied if required)
  • Applicant preferably resides in Calgary / Calgary area but candidates from other locations will be considered
  • Chainsaw Safety Ticket

Responsibilities:

As a member of Longhorn's team you will:

  • Work as a member of Longhorn's field staff to complete required oilfield related surveys/construction surveys such as Well Site and Pipeline Right of way Surveys, Boundary Staking, As-Built Surveys, etc.
  • Be available to mobilize anywhere within Alberta and possibly other provinces for periods of several days or more.
  • Learn Longhorn's field systems and processes.

Longhorn Geomatics offers excellent opportunities for increasing levels of responsibility, personal growth and challenges. Longhorn Geomatics operates in Alberta, as well as Oregon and Washington (USA).

Hourly wage to be negotiated based on experience and attitude.

Pay: $30.00-$50.00 per hour
