- Drive Strategy: You will own the sales results for Western Canada. This involves developing regional strategy, managing key national accounts, and providing critical insights on market drivers, competitive trends, and customer needs.
- Be Impactful: Empower your team to be true partners, providing solutions that address the evolving challenges of modern livestock operations and integrate new animal health technologies.
- Collaborate to Win: Work closely with our national Sales, Marketing, and technical teams to ensure our strategies are aligned and that the voice of the Western Canadian customer is at the forefront of our business decisions.
What You'll Bring to the Team (Minimum Qualifications):
- Education: A bachelor's degree in agriculture, Animal Health, or Business is preferred, though equivalent experience will be strongly considered.
- Experience: A minimum of 5 years of leadership experience, with a proven ability to coach and develop a high-performing sales team in the animal health, livestock feed, agriculture or bioscience sectors.
- Leadership: A track record of not just meeting, but exceeding sales goals by inspiring and enabling your team.
- Candidates must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
What Will Give You a Competitive Edge (Preferred Qualifications):
- Deep knowledge of and passion for the Canadian livestock industry.
- Exceptional business acumen, with the ability to understand the economic drivers of a modern livestock operation.
- A natural ability to build trust and relationships with both internal teams and external partners.
- Resilience and skill in navigating complex challenges to find effective solutions.
