Regional Distribution Leader - Western Canada

The Impact You'll Make in this Role

As a Regional Distribution Leader, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

  • Leading as the Regional Distribution Leader for assigned distributor partner accounts in Western Canada
  • Determining direction and priorities with full accountability for results for assigned distributor partner accounts
  • Identifying and defining market/product opportunities to meet sales and growth objectives, i.e. category management and shelf conversion
  • Building strong distributor partner and customer relationships
  • Build and implement Joint Business Plan with channel partners
  • Manage Customer Incentive Plan and process with channel partners
  • Managing sales targets for territory within the sales function, including contract sales, field sales, sales support, sales reporting, business intelligence, customer relationship management, territory planning/mapping/ forecasting, sales prospecting, sales rep issue resolution, sales inquiries, sample orders, order expedites, and CRM entries

Company Vehicle

This position requires driving a company vehicle, which will require pre-employment and ongoing review of motor vehicle history for candidates who are offered and hired for this position

Your Skills and Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

  • High school diploma or CAEC - Canadian Adult Education Credential (completed and verified prior to start)
  • Five (5) years of customer service, account management, outside or inside sales, or channel/distributor partner experience in a private, public, government or military environment
  • Current, valid Driver's License.

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start)
  • Experience in solution selling and problem-solving
  • Ability to business plan
  • Influential management skills
  • Knowledge of distribution, and ability to work cross functionally
  • Salesforce.Com experience is desired.

Work location:

  • Field Sales- Edmonton, AB

Travel: May include up to 35% in region
