Our Calgary location is seeking an experienced Tank Farm Coordinator to support our diverse operations. The successful candidate must be available Thursday to Sunday from 4AM-2PM as well as other various shifts throughout the week.

Description:

The Tank Farm Coordinator is responsible for the proper coordination and performance of the Tank Farm site. This includes the Tank Farm employees, Tank Farm trucks, and associate aircrafts. He or she will also be in charge of any reporting or that may need to be completed at the Tank Farm site. The Tank Farm Coordinator will assist with quality assurance and work to ensure a safe and orderly workplace.

Responsibilities:

  • Fuel to Tank Farm, Truck to Truck and Truck to Tank Farm transfers.
  • Complete daily tank farm checks.
  • Coordinate trucks daily, observing all trucks for damage or maintenance issues.
  • Check hoses, strainers, couplers.
  • Conduct FSII pump rate testing, combustibility tests and ESD checks.
  • General housekeeping and ensuring cleanliness of tank farm, buildings and grounds within fenced area (pull weeds in summer and remove snow in the winter).
  • General maintenance such as painting blocks, stairways and piping when needed.
  • Drain trucks to tanks for filter replacements as required.
  • Ensure safety equipment is maintained, monitored, tested and readily available; including fire extinguishers, Stormceptor and spill kits.
  • Recording and reporting all tests required for weekly, monthly and quarterly checks as per requirements
  • Complete record keeping and reporting with Quality Assurance Coordinator
  • Dip slop tank, road gas tanks and road gas inventory reporting.
  • Refuel and marshal aircraft as required.
  • Reset weekly trucks (Dip tank)
  • Coordinate spill drum deliveries, vacuum truck and maintenance with Senior Supervisor
  • Maintain a tidy and orderly work area exhibiting pride in work performance and contributing to a healthy and safe work environment.
  • Ensure exceptional, courteous, and respectful customer service and participation in the Company's Step Up to Customer Service Program.
  • Comply with and participate in the Company's Health & Safety and Quality programs and initiatives.
  • Perform any other duties as required.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Completion of High school diploma.
  • Previous experience in the aviation industry in a similar role would be an asset.
  • Valid class 3 driver's license is required. (Can be obtained upon hire)
  • Airport Security Clearance and Driver's Abstract is required as a condition of employment.
  • First Aid and CPR would be an asset.
  • Ability to work inclement weather, overtime and extended shifts is required.
  • Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
  • Able to lift or move up to 60 lbs as required.
  • Highly motivated and able to work with minimal or no supervision.
  • Professional, punctual, meticulous and diligent.
  • Able to work collaboratively as a productive member of the EFC Team.
